At Faith Lutheran Church, children learn what God did for His people in the Bible to save them from their sins, as well as where they can find Him saving them today.

St. Paul instructs parents to bring up their children “in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”  (Ephesians 6:4)  To assist parents in this very important task, the Sunday School of Faith Lutheran Church teaches children the saving truths of what God has done for them in Jesus Christ.  Part of this teaching involves instruction in the primary texts of the Christian faith: the Ten Commandments, the Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, as well as the institution texts of Holy Baptism (Matthew 28:19-20), Holy Absolution (John 20:23), and the Words of Institution of the Lord’s Supper (found in Matthew 26, Mark 14, Luke 22, and also 1Corinthians 11).  Teachers use the explanations in Luther’s Small Catechism to teach these texts.  Children are also taught the texts and music of the hymnal (Lutheran Service Book), so that they can participate with their parents in the Divine Service.  The children also sing in the Divine Service at various times throughout the year.

Sunday School takes place every Sunday morning from 11:00–12:00, immediately after the fellowship time which follows the Divine Service.
